Rolling over

After weeks of making it onto his side with regularity (both ways from his tummy and his back) he has made it all the way from his tummy to his back today!

Uh oh! My itty bitty is getting to big! Better get to baby proofing as he'll be moving all over soon! He can already wiggle himself all over and off his play mat.

Sleeping

So before we left for our vacation Micah was very possibly going through a growth spurt - or maybe he's just like his daddy - and wanted to eat several times throughout the night. While we were away he slept wonderfully - waking once to eat towards the morning. Now that we are back he's seems to be back to his old habits... and added a new one (as did Abby) of waking at 5:45 in the morning.

Now I just need to figure out what the secret was that got him to sleep so well at Gigi and Pops house. Maybe the fresh air all day while we were out walking around? (We haven't been outside much since we've been home - it's too dang hot especially after being away!) The different bed maybe? Abby always slept well in that bed as well. I hope it's not that Gigi and Pops live to far away to go trade mattresses with. Or maybe we've just hit another growth spurt?

Whatever it is I hope both little ones can adjust back quickly to our old wake up time and no more of this 5:45 stuff. Both kids are dragging before we even eat dinner with this early of a wake up time.
